Selections for the 2011 phase one squad were held at Adcock Park on Sunday 15 August.
The selectors were impressed with the high standard of the players who attended and due to the high standard have selected one of the biggest squads for many years. 44 players have been selected into the phase one development squad.
Training will commence on the first Tuesday of the return of the new school year in 2011. Training will be each Tuesday and Thursday for approx 6 weeks, when the phase two squad will be selected. The phase two squad will then contine to train until end of July. Annette Sutton (the coach who warmed all the players up) will contact you all shortly advising all the necessary details.
As some players were unable to trial due to injury, (broken bones, ankles etc). These players have been named with a qualification "to be confirmed" beside their name. These players will be viewed by the selectors during the first couple of training sessions and if their standard is equal to the selected members, they will continue to train until the phase two selections.
